This is one of the more advanced wall assisted handstand drills where we train your hand, core and shoulders specifically to develop the strength that will ultimately control your body whilst upside down.
The handstand scissor drill is the first progression that will make you feel like you're freestanding. The idea is to momentarily remove your wall assist, so as to mimic a freestanding body position.
Remember, although your hands will never be as strong and balanced as your feet, you can develop amazing strength in the fingers, palms and core, which is essential for handstands.
